DESCRIPTION:PART OF THE PRIME OF LIFE MUSIC SERIES\nUnder the direction of Karen Sayward, the Bedford Big Band (a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit, incorporated corporation) is a 19-piece classic swing big band that hails from Bedford, NH. The band was incorporated in May 1998 and has played in venues and events all over New England, including the Mt. Washington Hotel, Short Sands Beach in York, ME, the Derry Opera House, and many, many summer town concert bandstands, from Bedford, NH, to Bedford, MA and all points in-between! The band features talented soloists and great vocalists, and has performed with professionals such as Jay Daly, Greg Abate, and Delfeayo Marsalis.
