My New Hampshire Diner

Set during the summer of 1991 inside a beloved neighborhood diner in Manchester, New Hampshire, My New Hampshire Diner follows three people approaching turning points in their lives: a socially awkward teenage busboy searching for where he belongs, a once-celebrated hometown sports hero wrestling with an uncertain future, and a young waitress dreaming of a life beyond the diner.

Filled with humor, warmth, and memorable characters, the two-act play explores first jobs, first loves, family, friendship, and the choices that shape our lives. Inspired by Wade’s own experiences growing up in Manchester, My New Hampshire Diner is a love letter to hometowns, the people who raise us, and the places that never really leave us.

A talented ensemble of local actors and community members will bring the play’s colorful characters and nostalgic world to life in this live staged reading.
