An Evening with The Samples

Join us for an amazing evening of music, with ‘90s Jam Rock legends, The Samples 38 years after starting his full fledged music career with The Samples, Sean Kelly continues to delight fans with music that transcends genres, age and shatters the rules of the established music industry. Throughout his career, Sean has been the driving influence of 20 albums and over 1 million records sold. Sean started playing guitar at age 16 listening to Neil Young, Rolling Stones and Jackson Browne. Those influences mixed with his own poignant and timeless lyrics, a unique and striking voice and a mind for melodies led to songs like Little Silver Ring, Feel Us Shaking and Wild River. For many fans, these aren’t new songs or old songs, but anthems to their lives that represent the first time they met their wife or the joys of their times at college. Sean’s journeys across America have taken place in rental cars, tour buses and pickup trucks that would have literally taken him to the moon and back over the last quarter of a century. There is a lot of music in store from Sean Kelly and The Samples. Buy Tickets

Story Songs of the 70’s

Celebrating the music of: Cat Stevens, Gordon Lightfoot and Harry Chapin If You Could Read My Mind, you’d hear Cats in the Cradle climb aboard the Peace Train for a night of unforgettable storytelling. Tom DiMenna leads this thoughtful tribute to Gordon Lightfoot, Harry Chapin, and Cat Stevens, channeling the spirit of the 1970s one song at a time. Backed by his talented accompanists, he moves easily between the haunting pull of Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald, the quiet ache in Father and Son, and the soft glow of Moonshadow. Before he was singing to sold-out rooms, Tom was calling plays as the quarterback of an Italian football team while dreaming up a movie about it on the side. Years later, he trained at Second City and turned a sketch about the ghost of Telly Savalas into an off-Broadway lounge act. Eventually, he found his way back to music, settling in Maine and bringing that same sense of character and curiosity to the stage. DiMenna’s impressive vocal range and guitar style artfully channel all of these revered artists, and will surely satisfy their most die hard fans. Tom will also be backed with accompaniment to provide plenty of toe tapping […]

The Young Dubliners have begun work on their tenth studio album (with longtime producer Irish-born Tim Boland) while still maintaining their busy tour schedule. They have returned to the road post-pandemic, stronger than ever and determined to bring their fusion of Celtic and rock music to as many people as they can. The band is Keith Roberts (vocals/guitar), Chas Waltz (Violin, keys, vocals), Justin Pecot (guitar, vocals), Dave Ingraham (drums), and Ethan Jones (bass guitar). With a batch of incredible new songs and an undeniable energy, the band is excited to bring their show to festivals, theaters, and clubs around the world. “We want to be the band who reminds the world how important a good gig can be to our sanity after what we’ve all been through,” says Roberts. For only the second time, the band is looking to its fans to finance the album instead of a traditional record company. “The business has changed so much over our lifetime that it no longer makes sense for us to take money from a label and then owe it all back,” adds Roberts. “Making all our supporters co-producers is […]

Mardi Gras in Manchester with Soggy Po’ Boys

The Po Boys formed in 2012 to shake the walls of a local club on a Fat Tuesday but have honed their sound and become more than a Mardi Gras centerpiece. Exploring the vast musical traditions of New Orleans and expanding their repertoire to look beyond NOLA jazz, the band includes traditional Caribbean tunes (it’s been said that New Orleans is the northernmost city in the Caribbean), as well as Meters funk, soul, and brass band / street beat music. There are a myriad of traditions that flow into New Orleans culture just as there are tributaries that feed the Mississippi, and the Po Boys are eager to explore what makes the music of New Orleans so damn special. You’ll hear the heavy influence of the New Orleans sound across the band and in the stories told by their original tunes. Despite the scope of its sound, the outfit is only seven people, and thrives on the interplay and group dynamics that bring this music to life. Buy Tickets
