Palace Youth Theatre is pleased to announce auditions for Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet

Auditions for Romeo & Juliet will be on Thursday, April 2nd at 5PM, 6PM, and 7PM. Rehearsals will generally be on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at the Singer Center for the Arts. Performances will be at the Rex Theatre on May 13th, & 14th, 2026.

Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to fill out paperwork.

Expect to stay for your entire one-hour audition slot. You will be doing some movement (dance/stage combat), and reading from the script. Please come prepared to read one of the monologues we will provide when you sign up for auditions, or prepare a classical monologue of your choice. Memorization of the monologue is optional, but recommended.

Auditions are for performers in Grades 2-12. To schedule your audition time, please email [email protected] with performer’s name, age, and preferred audition time.

Note that this is a small cast musical and NOT ALL WHO AUDITION WILL BE CAST.

Auditions will be held at Singer Center for the Arts, located at 77 Amherst St. in Manchester.
