Upcoming Auditions & Productions

Get ready to cut loose – the Palace Theatre in Manchester, NH is seeking local talent to bring the high energy musical FOOTLOOSE to life and we want to see you at auditions! We are casting actors ages 13 and up.

Auditions will be held Saturday, February 7th.

· An open singer call begins at 5pm. Please prepare 32 bars of a song that shows your voice. An accompanist will be provided.

· An open dance call begins at 6pm, with vocal callbacks to follow. If asked to sing, please be prepared to sing 16 bars a cappella in the style of the show.

Performers ages 13 to 18 who are currently in middle or high school must attend the dance call. Adult actors may attend either the dance or vocal audition.

Rehearsals run from 4/3 through 4/16, with days off on 4/8 and 4/13. A typical rehearsal day runs from 1pm to 9pm. Rehearsals will be flexible for performers currently in school, and school day timing will not be considered a conflict.

Performances run weekends from 4/17 through 5/10. Show times are Fridays at 7:30pm, Saturdays at 2pm and 7:30pm, and Sundays at 2pm. There will also be a Thursday evening performance at 7:30pm on 5/7.

Audition forms will be available at the audition to note any potential rehearsal conflicts. Please come prepared to share that information when you arrive. All actors must be available for all performances.

Auditions will take place at the Singer Center for the Arts, 77 Amherst St, Manchester NH 03101.
