TICKET FAQs

How do I purchase tickets?

Tickets to any event can be purchased online, by calling our box office at 603-668-5588, or in person at the box office located at 72 Hanover Street. Box office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Can tickets be exchanged? Can you issue a refund?

We do not offer refunds or exchanges on any ticket purchases. However, exchange privileges are a perk of Membership. Click HERE for more information on Membership options.

Does the theatre cancel performances for inclement weather?

The Palace Theatre rarely closes for inclement weather and does not give refunds to those unable to attend an event because of the weather. If the performers are in-house, the show goes on.

Are there group rates for tickets?

    Yes, there are group rates for most events. To reserve your tickets, please contact Janey Goldberg at 603-668-5588 (ext. 127)

    Do I need to buy a ticket for an infant?

      Yes, the State Fire Code requires all people, including infants, attending an event to purchase a ticket and be assigned a seat. This allows us to keep track of exactly how many people are inside the theatre in case of an emergency.

      What is dynamic pricing?

        Ticket prices are subject to change due to availability and/or supply and demand.

        How can I get my tickets?

          You can choose one of 3 options:

          SHIP – There is an additional $3 charge for shipping.

          E-MAIL – You can print at home, or bring your phone to be scanned at the door.

          PICK UP AT WILL CALL – You can pick up your ticket(s) at the Box Office any time Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Box Office is also open 2 hours before all events.

          Are there student rush tickets available?

            Each production in the St. Mary’s Bank Performing Arts Series has rush tickets available to students one hour before each performance. Students must present a valid student ID upon purchase.

            PARKING FAQs

            VIP PARKING LOT

            Limited spots available. To reserve your spot, click here.

            The Palace Theatres has acquired the parking lot at 77 Amherst St and theatre patrons may now reserve a parking spot when attending a show. The lot opens 90 minutes before show time and closes 30 minutes after the show ends. The parking reservation times will be listed on the reservation ticket. 

            VIP parking patrons will be able to enter the Palace Theatre through the back via the red “Star Door”, only a few feet from the parking lot. *Please note – this entrance has stairs. VIP parking is not recommended for those requiring handicap access.

            Note: Once purchased, your ticket must be presented in order to enter the parking lot at 77 Amherst St. 

            Parking is only allowed during the times listed on the ticket. Violators will be towed and future parking privileges denied.

            VICTORY PARKING GARAGE

            The Victory Parking Garage is city-owned.
            Procedure for parking meters:
            1. Find available space and remember your space number
            2. Walk to street level corner stairwell or front of office location and find pay by space meter
            3. Follow instructions on meter (coins and credit only, no dollar bills) 
            4. Please remember to pay before leaving garage.
            Note: Parking is free after 8PM on Fridays, and on weekends and Holidays.

            ON STREET PARKING

            On-street parking is typically $0.75 an hour. Be aware that some on-street parking meters have a two-hour limit. Read meters for specific details and applicable hours.

            GENERAL FAQs

            How many people can the Palace Theatre seat?

            The Palace Theatre can seat 834 people, including seven wheelchair accessible spaces. Click HERE to view our seating chart.

            Are food and beverages available at the Palace Theatre?

            Food and outside beverages are not permitted in the theatre. For the comfort of our patrons, the Palace Theatre offers a wide array of beverages before the show and during intermission in our spill-resistant souvenir cup. All bars accept cash or credit cards.

            Is the Palace Theatre wheelchair accessible?

              Yes! Please contact the Box Office for wheelchair-accessible seats. There are wheelchair-accessible restrooms located in the lobby.

              Are shows appropriate for all ages?

                Please note that not all programming is appropriate for all ages. If you are considering bringing a child to the theater, feel free to contact the Box Office with any questions regarding the content of the show. Although opinions on appropriate viewing may differ, we will do our best to answer your questions regarding language, violence, and adult situations.

                How do you handle disruptive audience members?

                  The House Manager reserves the right to ask any disruptive audience member to leave without a refund.

                  What is the cell phone policy?

                  As a courtesy to our actors and other audience members, please turn off your watch alarms and cellular phones (or set them to a silent mode) before entering the theatre. Please do not text during the performance.

                  Can I take photos and videos during a performance?

                    Cameras, camera phones, and video/audio recording devices of any kind are strictly prohibited in the theatre.

                    Do you have assisted listening devices?

                      Assisted Listening Devices are available from the House Manager at no charge.
